Clips for the miss

After searching for some flower hair clips for Brooke, I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so I just made some. You know with all that hair she has, I was worried I'd have to go out and buy her a hair net. Whew.

These actually didn't turn out too shabby! And they were easy!

Traced out a petal template.

Cut them out and sewed the petals together. I then slapped on an alligator clip with some hot glue.

And boom! You got yourself a hair clip! Easy breezy.

Am I a modern day Martha Stewart or what?!?! haha

New Year, New House

We are officially moved in to our new home.  We were able to get settled right before the holiday and it is such a relief for it to be over.  I hope to not have to move for a long time.

I snapped a photo of our Living Room the other day so friends of mine could get a glimpse of what our furniture looks like in a different place. I'm loving all the space now!

Anyway, I'm still looking for a coffee table.  I'm not in much of a rush though since this is just the "pretty" room that no one really ever goes in.  ;o) We decided to rename this room the informal room, because we think "formal" rooms are for the birds. Rich even bought a bean bag that will go right where the Christmas tree is just to show you how informal it will be.
